SINEAD Mc CORMICK (b. Dublin, 1976) is an emerging Visual Artist. In 2020 she graduated with a 1st Class honours degree in Visual Art, from TU Dublin's unique BAVA course situated on Sherkin Island. Previous to this Sinead studied Amenity Horticulture at the National Botanic Gardens of Ireland. She has almost 20 years experience in horticulture: working as a landscape gardener, designer and arborist. Sinead’s formal introduction to art commenced in the late 1990’s when she studied Art & Design at Chelsea College of Art in London.
SYLWIA MIGDAL is an emerging Visual Artists. In 2020 she graduated from BA in Visual Arts course on Sherkin Island, West Cork / Technological University Dublin. Fourteen years ago Sylwia came to Ireland from Poland. Her artistic research centres around the natural environment, protecting native Irish and Polish woodlands, and eco-acoustics. She makes an artwork to expand on critical thinking around the complex human position regarding nature and how we relate to the world.

Ó’Donnabháin is from County Cork, Ireland and his choreographic practice is concerned with ‘aesthetic practices of care’. He lives and works on Oileán Chléire, a remote island and Gaeltacht off the south west coast of Co. Cork.
ANN BURNS is an emerging visual artist from North Cork working in the area of socially engaged practice and digital media. She completed her Honours Degree in Visual Arts at TU Dublin / BAVA Sherkin 2020. Ann has also studied Art Therapy and Ceramics at Crawford College of Art and Design and believes it is the combination of these studies that have allowed her to navigate successfully into the area of Socially Engaged Art.
KATIE NOLAN originally from Dublin is an emerging artist based in Co Waterford. Married with three adult children, and an extensive career in the Financial Services sector behind her, Nolan returned to education in 2014. A 2020 graduate of the BA (Hons.) in Visual Art Sherkin Island/ TU Dublin, her art practice is within the framework of social sculpture. Using performative processes of creative engagement, participation and collaboration Nolan aims to foster dialog and expression through the visual arts.
GUY DALTON is originally from the UK but after training in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire as a cabinet maker I moved to Ireland to start work in West Cork.More recently I have retrained as a Healthcare Assistant and have worked in a care home for the last five years. After studying Art Professional Practice for one year at Rossa college in Skibbereen I chose to study for the degree in Visual art. It provided a unique experience and challenged my perceptions of the world. The course recently finished with a final show despite the restrictions imposed by the lockdown.
DEIRDRE ARCHBOLD was born and raised in West Cork in the coastal town of Clonakilty. Now living in the heart of the countryside, she nurtures the creative spill between her two loves....Music and Visual Art. Her background as a ceremonial singer has ensured that elements of ritual have informed the methodology of her work.Developed primarily through Performance Art, her current practice also engages with video, sound, installation and textiles.
